The Rocky Mountain RoughRiders would like to congratulate the RoughRiders that were selected in the USHL Phase II Draft that was held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.  Phase II of the Draft is open to players of all ages eligible to play junior hockey and are not currently protected by another USHL team.  Teams will fill their roster to a total of 45 players. The total number of players that a team will draft will vary depending on the number of Affiliate players a team may have.

Jackson Howell was selected in the 12th Round by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.  Howell ('03), a 5'9" Forward from Boise, ID played on the 15U team during the 2018-19 season.  "It is no surprise that Jackson was drafted by Cedar Rapids.  He fits the USHL mold as an exceptional skater with an elite level hockey IQ.  He has worked hard for his recognition and deserves the honor.  I am confident Cedar Rapids will quickly discover that he is a complete player and outstanding teammate capable of contributing and someday dominating at that level," said Coach O'Leary.

Miller ('00), a 5'11" Goaltender from Boulder, CO, was a member of the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders 14U, 16U and 18U teams from 2014-2019.  "Although still an amateur, Andrew Miller is the consummate professional in everything he does in approaching the sport of hockey.  Hard work, responsibility and creativity are my 3 key foundations in communicating what's needed for the next level of hockey.  Andrew exemplifies them all, " said Coach Smail.

Alexander (AJ) Hodges ('01) was selected in the 3rd Round by the Muskegon Lumberjacks.  Hodges is a 5'11" Forward from Littleton, CO.  AJ was a member of the RoughRiders 14U team during the 2014-15 season.
