Congratulations to Jack Millar, Rocky Mountain RoughRiders 18U Defenseman, on his opportunity to play for the USHL Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.  Millar was a 2017 14th round draft pick for Cedar Rapids and remained as an Affiliate player with the RoughRiders during the 2017-18 season.   Millar was able to play this past week in Cedar Rapids, IA during their win against the Green Bay Gamblers and in the Shoot Out loss versus the Chicago Steel.  Millar got his first point with an assist during the Steel game.

Millar, 17, is in his fifth season with the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders and his first season with the 18U team.  The native of Westminster, CO has committed to play D1 college hockey for Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO.

Congratulations also go to Kevin Ness, 18, of Broomfield, CO.  Ness had the opportunity to spend the week training with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.  Ness (6'4" 190lbs) was a Forward on the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders 18U team.  Ness is in the fourth season with the RoughRiders.  Ness signed a Tender Agreement with the North American Hockey League's Minot Minotauros.

Congratulations to both Jack and Kevin!
