14U RoughRiders Win State Championship

The 14U team won the State Championship after an impressive playoff run.The RoughRiders defeated the Colorado Thunderbirds in two straight games in the championship series, earning a 4-2 victory in game one and a 5-2 win in game two to secure the title.

The road to the championship was hard fought. In the opening round, the RoughRiders faced Okanagan in a competitive three game series before advancing. The team carried that momentum into the final round and finished the job with confidence and consistency.

It was an exciting two rounds of playoff hockey, and the RoughRiders came out on top when it mattered most.

The 14U team will now move on to compete at the District Tournament in Denver from February 26-March 1. Congratulations to the players and coaches on an outstanding accomplishment, and good luck at districts. Go RoughRiders!
