Join us for Rocky Mountain RoughRiders Tier I Tryouts for the 2026–27 season. Our tryout process is open to players interested in competing at the highest level of youth hockey and provides a competitive, high-tempo on-ice evaluation experience.

Players will take part in fast-paced on-ice sessions and game-based evaluations designed to assess skill, hockey IQ, compete level, and overall readiness for Tier I AAA hockey. Tryouts also give athletes exposure to our coaching staff, systems, and program culture.

Below you will find detailed information for each tryout group.

Tryouts will include:

• 1 dedicated goalie session
• 3 guaranteed high-pace evaluation games

The RoughRiders take development as our prime objective. With a long list of players who have gone on to succeed at the next level, we are excited to help your player pursue those same goals through our experienced coaching staff, strong relationships with junior and collegiate programs, and education on the process of getting there.
